Jaycar is usually a great store but sometimes in life you meet really unhelpful people and this is the case at the Ringwood branch. If you know exactly what you want this is the place for you, if you're unsure exactly what you need and want to pop in for a little advice then it's well worth going a bit further; you'll get better service at Eltham or Box Hill.

Good spot for some electrical and electronic bits. There is even a corner for Hard Core Electronics. (see pic!) Plenty staff on hand to help. Lots of kits and parts. If you like RC and gadgets, spend some time here.

Most of my experiences has been great till the senior bald bloke ‘served’ me. Expected me to know what I wanted and refused to help me was I asked nicely. In the end, he sold the the wrong item which I cannot refund. Not sure why he’s working in customer service when he can’t do the bare minimum. Management should seriously pay attention to this or will lose customers.

Terrible customer service by the bald old man with glasses. I came in asking for assistance as my lighting kit’s fuse blew. Being inexperienced, I asked for what options there are to fix it. The man was condescending and unhelpful. In the end, he sold me something that was unusable without the fuse. Guess i’ll have to make another trip to the shops, but definitely not back here. Seems like most workers hate their jobs there 🤣 Thanks for wasting my time

Fantastic range of products for most electronic projects. Great location and parking all around in Ringwood. Front entrance includes a few steps so be prepared. I found the staff super energetic and polite and so helpful for all my questions. Tidy, clean shop and everything labelled and priced

Worst customer service. The product knowledge of the staff is not enough to help customers. They don’t have even a basic knowledge of product that they sell.

Store staff are not helpful with returns. They quote the 'no receipt no exchange' policy, but they conveniently forget that Jaycar members have all purchases tracked in their account.
